Valt dit ook onder een Chevrolet Truck? :lol:

Heeft een pick-up bak.. en een 5.3 V8..

Werden in het begin verkocht hier met grijs kent. weet niet of dat nu nog gebeurd :roll:

Nieuw weet ik ook niet maar heb hele mooie zien staan.. Grijs kenteken..
Ben voor auto van de zaak aan het kijken.. Mag nieuw en tweedehands zijn..
En toen kwam ik een SSR tegen.. ook de HHR vind ik gaaf..

ssr grijskent. €120.- belasting in 3maanden :wink:
deze heeft biijna niets gelopen.

als je dat wilt kopen moet je die met de 6liter motor eens proberen heeft denk ik een 420pk is de motor en boite van de corvette kun je de 5.3 niet mee vergelijken trekt van 0 tot 100 in 4.3 second :wink:

Er zijn verschillende motoren..

een 5.3 met 290 pk (2003)
een 5.3 met 305 pk (2004)
een 6.0 met 390 pk (2005)
een 6.0 met 400 pk (2005 laatste zucht van de SSR)

Dit is de 305 pk SSR maar verder zijn er in NL weinig 6.0 te vinden.. Niet tussen de 25.000 en de 35.000 in ieder geval geloof ik..

In 2003 Chevrolet released a vehicle unlike anything on the road, the SSR. This vehicle was similar to the old "glamor trucks" from the 1940s, '50s and '60s, but lacked any truck-like performance specifications. It tuned more for the performance enthusiast who desired speed and acceleration over towing and payload capacity. Unfortunately, the SSR never caught on and Chevy eliminated it after the 2006 model year.

Engines
The SSR had two engines in its short life-span, a 5.3-liter from 2003 through 2004, and a 6-liter from 2005 through 2006. The 5.3-liter V8 produced 290 horsepower at 5,200 and 325 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm in 2003. In 2004, the 5.3-liter received a mild upgrade to 300 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 331 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm. In 2005, Chevrolet dropped the 5.3-liter and added the 6-liter to the SSR, it produced 390 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 405 foot-pounds of torque at 4,400 rpm. In its final year, 2005, the 6-liter-powered SSR produced 400 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 400 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Transmissions
From 2003 through 2004, Chevy only provided one transmission option for the SSR, a four-speed automatic. In 2005 and 2006, Chevrolet added in an optional six-speed manual transmission to the SSR.

Fuel
Being a V8, high-performance vehicle, the SSR did not get great fuel economy. With the four-speed automatic transmission the SSR got 15 to 16 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. When fitted with the six-speed manual, the SSR got 13 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. In all four years, the SSR came equipped with a 25-gallon fuel tank.

Interior
The SSR had seating for only two people. It had 40 inches of headroom, 42.1 inches of legroom, 53.5 inches of shoulder room and 51.3 inches of hip room.

Exterior
The SSR had truck-like styling with a convertible hardtop, and was unlike any vehicle before it. The exterior size of the SSR remained consistent through all four years it remained in production. It had a 191.4 inch length, 78.6 inch width, 64.2 inch height and a 116 inch wheelbase. The SSR weighed in at 4,701 to 4,760 pounds without passengers or cargo.

Hauling
Despite being classified as a compact truck, the SSR had rather car-like hauling capacities. The SSR had a maximum towing capacity of 2,500 pounds, and a payload capacity--the maximum weight the chassis can bear--of 1,290 to 1,349 pounds.

Ik vind hem mooi! Heb hem nu paar keer in echt gezien..

Hier in Belgie kan je met deze toch voor weinig geld (wegenbelasting) met een snelle cabrio sportwagen rijden. Zelfs 100% fiscaal aftrekbaar want je kan hem inschrijven als lichte vracht (+-140€/jaar) :D

Ik vind het een gaaf ding, al helemaal omdat het een cabrio is. Is in mijn ogen min :wink: stens net zoveel (of weinig) truck als een El Camino, Ranchero e.d.. en komt ook met een 5.3 prima van z'n plaats.
